There’s more to work on, but we can always celebrate the now that we have, and we never know how long the now can last.
Side note:
I was conscious about posting pics that show more skin. This is never my artist image. Like most people I do have doubts and uncertainties. I crossed checked with my girl friends guy friends older friends younger friends to gauge the ‘appropriateness’ of such postings, which to me is beautiful, and it’s definitely not because I possess the greatest physique. In fact I’m far from that. Until some friends who think they are humorous commented about my humble chest, memories of how I used to feel so lack of self confidence because of such comments during puberty came back, and I began to think about other girls and women who probably suffered from verbal violence and think small of themselves. And then I went f*ck it, I am celebrating beauty in all shapes and forms, and it doesn’t always have to be connected to sexual portrayals. Perhaps, perhaps by being bold it will empower those who feel inferior about themselves to find a way to self loving, regardless of what people say.
We talk about others inevitably, we are all learning, I am not all saint and am guilty as charged too, but we don’t have to openly body shame others.
Celebrate our believes. Don’t judge.
